Non-Meet Events
- Swim Team Spring Cleaning – Before the season begins, volunteers participate in cleaning up the guard shed and refreshing equipment.
- Fun Fridays – special treats and fun activities for the entire team take place after every Friday practice.
- Swim-a-thon Fundraiser – each season, swimmer will be encouraged to participate in a fundraiser that goes towards upgrading equipment and paying for celebratory events at the end of the season. Swimmers will gather donations for a week either a flat rate or per lap. Then during regular practice in June, we will have parents counting swimmer laps and reporting them at the end of practice. The funds are then collected within the week.
- Award Ceremony – an end of the swim season banquet is held after divisionals, celebrating swimmer’s performance with ribbons, trophies, gifts and treats. This is a great chance for photo opportunities.
- Fourth of July Parade & Party – every year the swim team organize a parade down Champions Forest Drive form Kinsmen Lutheran Church to the Clubhouse. Swimmers and their families ride bikes, walk or sit in decorated trailers along the route. Once arriving at the Clubhouse, a party is kicked off with various activities and refreshments.
