Independence Day Parade & Party at the Pool Monday July 4th - starting at 9am
We have had a great 51st Summer League Season & Team Banquet and we just want to thank everyone who volunteered and helped out to make it possible for our swimmers!
We have our last team event of this season, the 4th of July Parade & Party at the pool this Monday July 4th and we hope to see everyone there!!
It's a long-standing tradition for The Breakers to march in parade as a team! Rain or shine we will be meeting at Kinsmen Lutheran Church at 9am to park and organize. Swimmers are encouraged to decorate their bike or strollers to participate in the decorating contest. There will be a team truck in the parade for our younger swimmers to ride in as well.
A big shout out to our Swim-A-Cross participants and our top three fundraisers who will get special recognition at the Parade:
1st Place: Amelia Shutt: $665.00
2nd Place: Gabe Einhorn: $540.00
3rd Place: Teriq Russell & Terriauna Russell who each raised $405.00
After the parade there will be a short ceremony at the Clubhouse followed by swimming and festivities that are open to the public. Swim team will be providing concessions and sponsoring games with all funds going towards equipment for the swim team.
We will be accepting donation Sunday July 3rd from 1pm to 5pm at the Clubhouse for baked goods for the cake walk and prizes for Bingo and the raffle.
We also have 1 hour volunteer shift positions on July 4th if you’d like to help with food, games, etc. at the party if you would like to help or if you still need volunteer points:
Also, a BIG thanks to our volunteers – we couldn’t make the season happen without our AMAZING Breaker families!!
Let's wrap up out 51st season with a Bang!
