Divisional Meet This Saturday 6/15- Reminders and parking Maps
Hey Breakers!
We are super excited for our Divisional meet tomorrow at Klein Cain High School!
Klein Cain HS Natatorium
10201 Spring Cypress Rd
Klein, TX 77070
Today is a good day to relax and hydrate in preparation for tomorrow’s meet!
Be sure to arrive between 6:00am – 6:30am to get set up. Warmups start at 7am and it is important that we have all our swimmers checked in and attending warm-ups so they get a chance to dive off the starting blocks and practice turns before their races. Attached to this email are maps for parking and set-up. It is a good idea to bring coolers with drinks and snacks. There will also be food trucks all day at the meet and those menus are attached. The Breakers team has brought in the Frozen Lemonade stand and we will receive 25% of the proceeds.
Coaches will have special treats for all our Breakers swimmers after each race, so be sure to get your time and tell your coaches!
We are super excited to see all our Breakers swim fast!
Go Breakers!!
REMINDERS from Divisional Coordinators:
- Cars should enter via Cutten Rd lot, NOT the front of the school.
- Ready bench will be the LEFT entrance doors, spectators enter the RIGHT.
- 6U will start on the "end" of the pool, on the bulkhead, not on the blocks.
- Coaches will receive results after each event, and they have 15 minutes to contest results or disqualifications. After that time, results will stand.
- Poor behavior won't be tolerated from kids or adults.
- Kids are not allowed in warm up pool
- We must do our absolute best to preserve the field on which we set up. We cannot allow anything destructive on the field, which includes: riding toys, motorized vehicles, digging/sand toys, water balloons, fireworks, kiddie pools, tent stakes, etc. Please talk to your teams about being diligent about trash, as well.
- Tennis courts, bleachers, retention pond, baseball fields, and uprights are OFF LIMITS!!
- Wet swimmer bathrooms are located in locker rooms, opposite pool side from the bleachers. Dry bathrooms can be found near bleachers, start end of the pool.
-Swimmer exit will be on the "back side" of the Nat. They will leave shoes on deck.
- There is absolutely ZERO: Smoking, vaping, recreational drugs, or alcohol at NWAL events, and Klein ISD also has a zero-tolerance policy as well. There will be security and Klein staff roving. Tell your teams!
- No camping in the natatorium bleachers. Facility monitors will ask families to leave after a certain amount of time. No chairs, blankets, food/drink in indoor bleachers. Watch and go! There are too many people for that.
