Divisional Swim Meet this Saturday AFTERNOON!

We have had a great season and can't believe it's coming to an end!  It has been such a pleasure to work together for all our swimmers and bring new neighbors into our Breakers Family!

We are excited about our Divisional Swim Meet this weekend. All six teams in our division will come together for one final meet to compete for bragging rights…and trophies! Remember the POSTER CONTEST is this Friday, so bring your poster and show your Breaker Spirit!

Here is what you need to know about this weekend:

    • Volunteer Positions for Divisionals are Different! The Divisional Volunteer Schedule is posted under links. If you cannot work your shift it is your responsibility to find someone else to cover for you. Please contact Jennifer Frank if you have any issues. [email protected].
    • Parking is in the main lot at Klein Forest High School. The Natatorium is to the right between the main entrance and the baseball field. See the Divisional Map for KFHS under links
    • Note that the meet is in the Afternoon – Arrive to set up and check in with Jennifer at 1PM.
    • Warm-ups are 1:30 PM to 1:50 PM for all Breakers in lanes 5-8.
    • Set up is indoors with AC – no tents needed – just bring chairs and blankets to lay on and something to keep the kids’ occupied.
    • We will be in the UPSTAIRS GYM in the section marked off for GWF. Note that there is another swim meet in the morning before us and they are using the downstairs gym. Make sure that you go upstairs!
    • Concessions – There will be lots of options! Food truck, Kona Ice, Snack Station, and a Beverage Station. Most will take credit cards, drinks are cash only.
    • Divisional T-Shirts – there will be a limited quantity of divisional t-shirts for sale on site near concessions and they will take credit cards.
    • Heat Sheets – there will be heat sheets for sale near concessions and they will take credit cards.

Usually the divisional meet lasts about 6 hours. With a meet happening before us, it is highly likely that our meet will start late and end late. Please be patient! Everyone will do everything that we can to ensure the meet starts as early as we can and runs as efficiently as possible. We will probably run until fairly late at night. Let’s try to keep up our positive energy and have a great meet.

    GO BREAKERS!
