Summer Thunder Invitational Swim Meet UPDATE INFO
Coach Jason wants to remind everyone to use the timeline attached as an estimate to know when your child might swim. For those planning on warming up please arrive behind our lane 10 minutes early.
Below is information sent to the the Coach about the meet.
Thank you for entering your team in our 12th Annual Summer Thunder Meet! We are looking forward to another fun and exciting meet and are happy to be hosting the meet at the Klein High School pool again this year.
Attached are the team warm-up assignments, team lane timing assignments, estimated timeline, and team list with total athlete and entry counts. Please remind your families that the estimated timeline is an estimate, the meet can run ahead or behind schedule.
Teams are also requested to provide lane timers, as listed on attached Lane Timer Page. Please make sure your timing chairs are kept full throughout the meet with volunteers from your team if you are assigned timing chairs for the meet.
We are very happy to have 2-Time Olympian Chloe Sutton visiting our Summer Thunder meet this year. Attached document has more details of her visit. She will be giving a motivational athlete talk session for all Summer Thunder athletes Sunday morning prior to warm-ups from 10-11 am. Don’t miss out! After the talk session, we will be holding a drawing for a 15 minute private lesson with Chloe Sutton (Lesson will talk place on Monday, from 3:15 – 3:30 pm).
Also, please remind your coaches that all coaches MUST have their NWAL issued badge to be allowed on deck at the meet and pick up heat sheets. Teams are limited to no more than 3 coaches on deck per team. Each team will receive up to 2 complimentary heat sheets for their coaches.
Meet Set-up for swimmers and their families will be available indoors in the school cafeteria. No items may be left inside the school overnight, as the school is being used during the day on Monday for school activities.
Monday: Nobody will be able to enter the building before 3:00 pm, due to school activities taking place on campus during the day. Please do not attempt to enter the building on Monday prior to 3:00 pm.
