Divisional Swim Meet on Saturday 6/21 at Cy-Springs High Sch
Divisional Swim Meet on Saturday 6/21 at Cy-Springs High School!
This is our important league championship meet where we swim against all the teams we have raced this season. All swimmers participate! Traditionally our team has done very well. However, it takes EVERYONE on our team to be there ready to swim FAST for this to continue. We will need to know by noon by Monday, June 16 if you aren’t able to attend. It would be awesome if we had 100% attendance.
Where: Cy-Springs High School natatorium, 7909 Fry Rd, Cypress TX 77433
There will be designated GWF indoor seating in the commons area with cafeteria tables, but NO INDOOR TENT/CHAIR/COT SETUP. If you choose to set up chairs, you will have to do so outside in the designated area.
Concessions: Chic-fil-a for breakfast, Dickies BBQ for lunch.
Parking: back parking lot of CY-Springs HS ONLY (GWF designated) Spectator viewing will be upstairs in the natatorium ONLY. The bleachers on the ground floor of the natatorium are reserved for the disabled and the elderly. Parents are NOT allowed on deck. There will be designated areas where you can wait for your swimmers once they have finished their race. If you are a gatherer, you may drop off your swimmers at the drop off point of the ready bench area and exit the area ASAP to keep the traffic flowing. This will be a large meet, close to 800 swimmers, I urge all parents to stick to the team's designated areas to avoid conflict with the other teams. Cy-Springs is an 8 lane pool, but with the number of swimmers, be prepared to stay longer than normal. You may bring coolers with snacks & drinks. I do not encourage bringing them into the indoor seating area because of the limited space. Jennifer Oliphant will send out a revised Volunteer Roster for Divisionals. We will have 3 shifts instead of the normal 2 shifts. Our coaches have done an excellent job in getting your swimmer ready for this championship meet. It will be exciting to watch not only your swimmer but your swimmer's team mates compete. Good Luck to all & GO BREAKERS!!
